On September 24, 2025, I had the opportunity to share my story on FOX 5 Atlanta as part of a growing movement to hold abusive HOAs accountable. What started as a personal battle with my neighborhood association has now reached the state level — and the news.
My HOA Nightmare, Exposed
For over a year, I’ve faced:
A board that refuses to hold fair elections.
Lack of transparency with HOA finances.
Retaliation, fines, and harassment for simply speaking up.
Despite countless emails, open records requests, and formal complaints, there was no real oversight — until now. FOX 5 Atlanta covered my story and others in their report on the Georgia Senate’s investigation into HOA abuses.
This coverage was a breakthrough — not just for me, but for homeowners across Georgia who have been silenced and ignored.

Real Change is Coming
The Georgia Senate is now listening. A subcommittee has been formed to probe HOA misconduct, and I’m proud to be a voice in that conversation.
But this is only the beginning. Here’s what I’m still fighting for:
Mandatory state audits of HOA finances
A fair election process with third-party oversight
A homeowner ombudsman or enforcement agency in Georgia
We deserve better. We deserve protection. And I will not stop until we have it.
